On March 7, 2010, a team of 75 riders will be united on the start line of the Semi-Marathon de Paris in the colors of Aide et Action. The goal is to raise funds to support activities of the association for a quality education for all.

In 2010 again, nearly 75 million children worldwide lack access to education and 800 million adults are illiterate. Supporting access to education is the challenge that have set the 75 men and women who have decided to run March 7, 2010, 21 kms Semi-Marathon de Paris with Action Aid.

A few weeks after its inception the team has already collected nearly 4 000 through web pages collecting riders. Action Aid offers the athletes a complete preparation: weekly group workouts, a blog specially dedicated to the operation to unite the team, on which the portraits are available for runners, sports councils, revenue for the mobilization their social network ...

To support the riders over 150 people are expected on race day on the stand of Action Aid: supporters, volunteers, VIPs. In a festive atmosphere, the Association will be meeting those who wish to learn more and engage in turn so that education becomes a reality for all.

The sports coach, Tri Duc Tran, fully invested in this challenge. Tri Duc has already run 100 km from Millau in the colors of the association in September 2009. He crossed a new milestone today by becoming a volunteer coach's official running team of Action Aid. They come from all over France and even Germany for the occasion, with the same determination to mobilize their communities for the cause of education.
